9. Booking Terms and Clinic Services
9.1 General booking terms
By making an appointment with Elysée Maison, you confirm that you are booking for yourself or for a person you are legally authorised to represent, and that all information you provide during booking is complete and accurate.
Appointments are reserved specifically for each client and may involve practitioner time, room allocation, consumables, treatment preparation, and administrative resources. Please read the booking and cancellation terms carefully before confirming your appointment.
Elysée Maison may request valid card details, a booking fee, or a deposit to secure an appointment where this is disclosed before the booking is completed. By proceeding with your booking, you agree to any such requirements as described at the time of booking.
9.2 Cancellation, rescheduling and no-show policy
Unless a different period is clearly stated for a particular service, at least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
If you:
cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice,
fail to attend your appointment (no-show), or
arrive so late that the service cannot reasonably proceed as booked,
Elysée Maison may apply a disclosed cancellation or no-show fee, retain a disclosed deposit, or treat a prepaid session as forfeited, provided that the relevant term was clearly disclosed before booking and accepted by you.
Cancellation and no-show fees are intended to be reasonable and proportionate to the Clinic’s likely loss (including reserved time and preparation costs) and are not intended to be punitive. Circumstances may be taken into account when deciding whether to apply or waive a fee.
If card details have been provided to secure your booking and you have agreed to the cancellation policy, you authorise Elysée Maison to charge any applicable cancellation or no-show fee to that card.
9.3 Deposits, prepaid services and refunds
Where a deposit or booking fee is required, the amount and conditions for refund, transfer, or forfeiture will be disclosed at or before the time of booking.
If the appointment proceeds as planned, any deposit is usually applied towards the cost of the booked service.
If you cancel late, do not attend, or otherwise breach the disclosed cancellation policy, the Clinic may retain the deposit or apply the disclosed cancellation fee in accordance with these Terms.
Refunds are generally not provided simply because you change your mind, decide not to proceed, or cancel outside the required notice period, unless the Clinic chooses to provide a discretionary transfer, credit, or refund.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law, including consumer guarantees that apply to services.
9.4 Complimentary consultations
Complimentary consultations are reserved clinical appointments. Where disclosed, Elysée Maison may require card details to secure a complimentary consultation and may charge a stated no-show or late-cancellation fee (for example, A$100) if you do not attend or give insufficient notice.
Where a consultation is described as “complimentary”, this means there is no consultation fee payable when you attend as booked. It does not prevent the Clinic from charging a clearly disclosed and agreed no-show or late-cancellation fee.
Consultations, treatment recommendations, and proposed treatment plans are indicative only until clinical assessment is completed. A consultation does not guarantee that any client is suitable for treatment.
9.5 Aesthetic treatments, clinical facials and other services
All aesthetic treatments, clinical facials, skin treatments and other clinic services are subject to assessment for suitability. Elysée Maison may decline, postpone, modify, or discontinue a service where this is considered clinically appropriate or necessary for safety.
Treatment suitability may be affected by your medical history, medications, allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, active skin conditions, recent procedures, infection or illness, sun exposure, contraindications, or failure to follow pre-treatment instructions.
Results vary between individuals. No guarantee is made that any treatment will achieve a particular outcome, and multiple sessions, adjunctive care, or home care may be recommended.
You agree to follow any pre-treatment and aftercare instructions provided by the Clinic. Failure to do so may affect treatment safety, results, downtime, healing, and eligibility for review or follow-up support.
9.6 Informed consent
Informed consent is an ongoing process and may require separate forms or acknowledgements for specific treatments. Before certain treatments, you may be asked to sign a treatment-specific consent form setting out the nature of the procedure, potential benefits, risks, alternatives, and aftercare requirements.
You have the right to ask questions and to decide whether to proceed with recommended treatment. Treatment may be refused or deferred if valid informed consent cannot be obtained or if it is not clinically appropriate to proceed.
9.7 Late arrivals
If you arrive late, Elysée Maison will make reasonable efforts to provide the booked service within the remaining appointment time where this is practical and safe. However, the Clinic may shorten, reschedule, or cancel the service where late arrival materially affects the safe or proper delivery of the appointment.
Where the appointment cannot proceed because of late arrival, a disclosed late cancellation or no-show fee may apply.
9.8 Clinic-initiated changes
Elysée Maison may reschedule or cancel an appointment due to practitioner unavailability, illness, equipment issues, safety concerns, or other operational reasons. If the Clinic initiates the cancellation, you will generally be offered a transfer, rebooking, or refund/credit of any amount paid for that appointment, subject to any overriding legal obligations.
9.9 Packages and courses
Where you purchase a package or course of treatments, each session is a reserved appointment. If you cancel late, fail to attend, or arrive too late for a session to proceed, the Clinic may apply the disclosed cancellation fee or count the missed appointment as a used session where this was clearly disclosed and accepted at booking.
9.10 Photography and records
Clinical photographs may be requested for assessment, treatment planning, progress tracking, and record keeping. Separate consent will be sought if any clinical images are proposed to be used for marketing, education, or promotional purposes.
Treatment records, booking information, and related personal information may be collected, stored, and used for appointment administration, treatment planning, legal compliance, and clinic record keeping in accordance with the Clinic’s privacy practices and applicable law.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. By using this Site or booking services with Elysée Maison, you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
